It is designed to help young children remain physically and emotionally healthy, learning and able to thrive by ensuring they stay connected to immunisation, growth monitoring, nutrition and other essential child-survival services.

How it Works
A refugee-led health workforce
turning missed contacts into completed care.
Found & Growing equips trained refugee and host-community health workers as a professional community health enterprise, contracted by Government, health facilities and partners for last-mile services including child registration, household follow-up, referrals, mobilisation and data support. Services remain free to families, while contracts sustain health workers, tools and local operations turning refugee women into recognised health workers, data stewards and income earners. Caregivers receive trusted health and nutrition information and reminders via SMS, voice, WhatsApp or assisted community-health-worker access, in familiar languages and designed for low-literacy, offline and data-protection needs.

Santé works with the Ministry of Health, refugee-hosting districts, KCCA, OPM, health facilities and refugee-led organisations to document what works and advocate for a clear pathway through which competent refugee health workers can be trained, supervised, recognised and integrated within formal community health structures.
