About Santé Initiative Uganda

We build health solutions for everyone.

Santé Initiative Uganda was founded to close a persistent gap: even where health services exist, people still miss the care they need. Distance, cost, fragmented referrals, weak follow-up, and limited information push underserved families out of the care pathway again and again.

Founded by Ugandan health professionals and researchers, Santé combines community health, research, digital innovation, inclusive financing and social enterprise to build practical models that improve access and continuity of care. Our programs cater for children, caregivers, and marginalized communities.

Why We Exist

The principles that shape our solutions.

Vision

A Uganda where no one is overlooked by health.

Mission

To turn evidence into community-tested health solutions and prove models the health system can adopt and scale.

Values

Evidence with Purpose, Integrity without Compromise, Equity First, Community-Led Solutions, Designed for Adoption, Partnership for Lasting Impact

How we work

Listen & Research → Co-create → Deliver → Track → Learn → Support Adoption

We find the gaps, then test solutions with communities. Live data builds the evidence for wider adoption.

This is how we work. We identify where people are lost, co-design practical responses with communities, and test them in real-world settings using live data to improve delivery and build the evidence, partnerships and policy pathway needed for wider adoption.
